A top selling bottling from the Jack Daniel distillery, the mashbill is made up of 80% corn, 12% rye and 8% malt. The spirit is filtered through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal to produce a mellow, slightly smoky character, thus making it Tennessee Whisky.

Glenmorangie Signet was created with a marriage of whiskies produced from two unique types of malted barley, a single estate Cadboll variety and malted chocolate barley, which is better known as a basis for craft beers. The Signet was distilled twice through Glenmorangie's copper- pot stills, by a team of 16 distillers known as the "Sixteen Men of Tain". It was subsequently matured in bespoke American virgin oak casks before it was bottled at 46% and receive no chill- filtration.

It is here, maturing for ten long years in a range of ex-bourbon casks such as our famous slow-grown and air-dried 'designer casks' from Missouri, that our raw spirit develops a perfect balance between sweetness and complexity. Monkey Shoulder’s unique taste is the result of a careful blending of three single malt whiskies distilled in the heart of malt whisky country, Speyside. Unlike traditional blends, Monkey Shoulder only uses single malt from three Speyside distilleries, resulting in a richer blended malt of exceptional smoothness. ‘Red' is a reference to the reddish colour of aged oak. These barrels, crafted from fine-grained oak, have already been used to age eaux-de-vie and have reached the perfect stage of maturity before being selected for this cognac.
